The Marian College, Ararat project is a new structure comprising an indoor multipurpose court on a sprung timber gymnasium floor.
The building will be a structural steel frame with Bondor wall and roof panels. This will enable the building to achieve a high rate of thermal and noise insullation.
The court lines will accommodate multiuse activities. The roof will harvest storm water which will be held in tanks for the schools' use.
The structure will also comprise a canteen, amenities, change rooms and equipment store.
The College is looking forward to using this facility in 2012.
