Having constructed this building 20 years ago, it was pleasing to receive the contract once again to upgrade the Walmer building in Horsham for DELWP.
The scope of work was to do a refurbishment on the existing building of around 5000 square metres. Works included a new roof and internal office fitout together with staff meals/kitchen area and new conference facilities.
The job started in May 2017 and was completed at the end of August in time for the 2017/18 fire season. This building houses state of the art facilities and technologies to assist all management teams relating to fire risk to work to their highest capabilities in the Wimmera/Grampians region.
